Product Description

A normal non-PC dripper discharges less water simply because the pressure at its end is lower than at the head of the line. On undulating ground, a long block, or a system running without a pressure regulator, that difference shows up as visibly uneven irrigation — one end of the row dry while the other end ponds. A pressure-compensating emitter solves this with a flexible silicone diaphragm that holds the flow steady across a wide working range, typically 0.5 to 3.5 bar. Every plant then receives the same 8 litres per hour regardless of its position on the line. This is the spec to choose for hilly terrain, long lateral runs, greenhouse systems and any installation where you cannot guarantee perfectly level pressure.
