40 cm is the spacing most Indian growers default to, and this is the lateral we ship most often. It balances water efficiency against installation cost: wide enough to serve a mature plant's root spread, close enough to keep the wetted zone from overlapping between rows and wasting water on bare soil. The 16 mm Class 2 wall handles a 1-2 bar operating range with negligible pressure drop over a long run, so the emitters at the far end of the row discharge at the same rate as those at the head. Choose this for sugarcane, cotton, castor, onion and established orchards where you want dependable uniform delivery without fussing with emitter spacing.
